1 tsp. dry onion
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp. sweet basil
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
3 1/2 c. water
3/4 lb. cheese
1 lb. box lasagna noodles

Brown hamburger; drain.

Add seasonings.

Add paste, sauce and water.

Bring to a boil.

Simmer 10 minutes (mixture will be thin). In a 13 x 9-inch pan, ladle in about 1 1/2 cups mixture.

Next put egg noodles on (uncooked), ladle in more mixture on top, then noodles again; repeat until there are 3 layers.

Put cheese on second and top layers.
