Amish Frienship Bread Starter Recipe

   Day 1: Sprinkle yeast over hot water.

   Add in one Tbsp.

   of the sugar and let stand a few min till yeast is active and swelling.

   Commbine remaining sugar, flour and lowfat milk in a 4 to 6 qt glass, plastic or possibly pottery bowl or possibly container.

   Don't use metal bowls or possibly utensils as these my retard starter growth.

   With a wooden spoon, stir in active yeast mix.

7. 7

   Cover loosely with a towel so it can breathe.

8. 8

   Then start with day 2 (you know the rest).
