Alheira Sausage And Apple Strudel

   Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

   Stew the onion and garlic in a little bit of olive oil, until translucent.

   Add the sausage, stirring occasionally, until well mixed.

   Add the spinach leaves and diced apples.

   When apples and spinach are soft, remove from heat.

   Lay out the filo pastry sheets carefully, brush with butter.

   Place one top of the other.

   Place the apple and sausage filling in the middle of the filo pastry.

   Roll up the dough, and make small cuts on the top.

    Brush with a little more butter, and bake in a greased baking tray, for 20 to 25 minutes at 180 C.

    Serve with an arugula salad.
