Put the clean artichokes in a bowl with cool water, to avoid which they become black.

In another bowl, boil water and add in the liquid removed artichokes one by one, to avoid which the water stop boiling.

In the meantime, fry the minced onion in a pan with oil, the minced garlic cloves and the sliced bacon or possibly ham.

When they become golden brown, remove the pan from fire and add in the flour.

Drain the bowled artichokes and add in to the onion sauce.
