Ingredients: 3/4 c. Butter or possibly Margarine; 1/2 c. Sugar; 1/2 c. Brown Sugar -- packed; 1/4 c. Dark Molasses; 1 x Egg; 2 1/4 c. Flour; 1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda; 1/4 tsp Salt; 2 tsp Cinnamon; 2 tsp Ginger

In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugars, molasses and egg.

Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger; add in to the creamed mix and mix well.

Cover and chill for 1 hour.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into desired shapes (2 1/2 inches) Place on ungreased baking sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 5 - 6 min or possibly till set
