In a casserole dish, stir sugar, cocoa, salt, milk and vanilla together until partially blended (mixture is too stiff to thoroughly blend in all of the dry ingredients).

Put margarine over top in the center of the mixture.

Microwave on High 1 minute or until milk feels warm on bottom of dish.

Stir vigorously until smooth.

If all of the margarine has not melted in cooking, it will melt as you stir the mixture.

Pour into a dish that you have greased with 1 tablespoon of margarine.
