   preheat oven at 300F

   generously.

   grease and lightly flower 10 inch tube pan

   beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until light in color and creamy.

   gradually add sugar beating at medium speed until light and fluffy

   add eggs one at a time beating until yellow disappears

   add flour to mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour

   beat at low speed just until blended after each addition.

   (batter should be smooth )

    stir in extracts.

    pour in prepared pan

    bake at 300F for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until a long wooden toothpick placed in the center comes out clean

    remove from pan on a wire rack, and cool 1 hour
